Brown Girls Do Gymnastics

Brown Girls Do Gymnastics (BGDG) is an advocacy organization helping to guide Black and brown girls through their acrobatic careers by promoting diversity in the sports of gymnastics and circus.

BGDG Ambassadors are expected to adhere to all rules set forth by BGDG. If an Ambassador is found in violation of any of the below rules or any other display seeming unfit by BGDG Admin, an Ambassador may be excused from her duties.

Please ensure you have all of the following before beginning this application:

1. Link to 15 second to 1 minute video offering your support to BGDG and announcing your application to become a BGDG ambassador!
2. Public Instagram Account dedicated to the ambassador’s gymnastics and extracurriculars. Page cannot be a branded page selling items. (parents/adult figures MUST monitor account)
3. 2 Recommendations:  (name, title, organization/school, phone and email). Recommendations may come from school teachers, coaches, clergy leaders, camp counselors, and anyone who is familiar with your skills as a gymnast and as a leader. A pdf document is required.
4. Gymnastics/Acrobatics/Aerial Photo (Professional not necessary)
5. Gymnastics Bio (Please include gymnastics/acrobatic accomplishments, extra curricular activities and leadership opportunities.)
6. Recent Report Card
7. Must have been a BGDG Member or attendee at a BGDG Event within the last 2 years.
